Take this route if

You want Israel Electric, Ormat, SolarEdge, Enlight, Mekorot or the environmental regulator, or a masters in energy conversion. It also suits anyone who wants a route where the maths stays applied.

What you need before it starts

Thermodynamics 1, Fluid mechanics 1, Heat transfer and Mechanics of solids 1. Thermodynamics 2 is the hinge of the whole route and it runs in the fall only.

Where it lands you

Energy systems engineer, power plant engineer, renewables project engineer, environmental or water engineer. For research it is the standard entry to energy conversion and environmental engineering.

What will bite

The third year spring is heavy: three four-hour courses at once. If that is too much, move Computational intelligence to the final spring and take Dynamics and control instead.
