Pick the one that sounds like the job you want.
Every route below clears the six core courses across all three sub-groups and the advanced laboratory on its own. None of them is the only way through.
Aeronautics and space
Compressible flow first, structures alongside it, then spacecraft and orbits. This is the route that keeps both the propulsion door and the satellite door open until year four.

The thermodynamics spine, then the four courses that turn it into plants, engines and renewables. The broadest employer list of any route, and the one with the clearest public-sector option.
11 courses41 weekly hoursFlow and thermal design
Transport theory in year three, then the two courses that make you employable in electronics cooling, with the CFD lab in the middle to prove you can actually run a solver.
10 courses41 weekly hoursStructures and computational mechanics
Four solids cores stacked deliberately, finite elements taken early so the applied course can follow it, and the cheapest lab in the catalogue to clear the requirement.

Robotics and the mechatronics lab together in the first fall, the robotics lab the moment it opens, then control and the software elective that gets you interviews outside mechanical engineering.

Vibrations and finite elements early, because MEMS assumes both, then the fabrication side from the Electrical Engineering catalogue. One of the genuine research strengths of the school.

Design method and mechanisms in the first fall, then manufacture from both ends: additive on one side, forming and industrial finite elements on the other.

These routes are ours. The university did not publish them and does not endorse them. Semesters and prerequisites come from the faculty elective presentation, and courses with no fixed semester are placed where the load allows. Check any route against the official handbook and the live timetable before you register on the strength of it.
